"LCA would like to congratulate the winner of the 2020 Best in Shelter competition, Mischa, and the Senior Dog Sanctuary. This competition is a very clever way to get people to view shelter animals as valuable as pure bred animals. It takes people into the shelters to see and witness how wonderful these animals are. This is an amazing and innovative way of spreading the word on the value of shelter animals and, in turn, saving countless thousands of lives."
