Emanuel is now a member of Joe Biden’s COVID-19 Advisory Board. In his essay, Emanuel argues for “quality” versus “quantity” of life. Emanuel should not help shape the national response to a pandemic that disproportionately affects the elderly and vulnerable. - We must ensure that elections are secure against voter fraud and voter suppression. This should be a bipartisan goal. Every legitimate vote should count.
- We want everyone who is eligible to vote to be able to do so without unnecessary barriers, but we also cannot allow legitimate voters to have the power of their preferences weakened by fraud, abuse, and political machinations like ballot harvesting.
- It’s critical that Americans be able to trust that, in the election process, their votes are not canceled out by fraud and illegitimate ballots.

To think that government is the best solution because the government can spend any amount necessary is false, foolish, and naive.

This is seemingly good news: Companies can save money on unnecessary office space, commutes are slashed, and employees have greater flexibility. But Deutsche Bank wants to punish workers for acting on this “privilege.” In a new report, the German bank says people who continue to work-from-home after the pandemic should face a special 5% tax.
