2020 has presented us with a number of challenges. Time and again our community of supporters, members, and activists have risen to meet those challenges head on. Thank you for every phone and text bank hour, for every single dollar of contribution, and every single friend or neighbor you’ve invited to connect with the Working Families Party.
The road has been hard, and much work remains ahead. But together we have had some incredible victories along the way. Most notably, we now know definitively that we’ve defeated Donald Trump which means Joe Biden will be the next president of the United States, bringing with him this country’s first woman, first Black and first Asian-American Vice President.
A change is on the horizon. That is in no small part due to the extraordinary efforts of organizers and mobilizers on the ground across the country, and in particular, in key states like Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin, that helped to secure this win.
Next month, WFP will be gathering virtually to celebrate the results of our collective hard work throughout 2020. We'll also be passing the virtual hat to help ensure our party is funded by our people, for our people.
