Dear John,

We’re getting close to the worldwide freedom movement’s most exciting event of the year—and you are invited!

Atlas Network’s Liberty Forum & Freedom Dinner will be held November 6-7 in New York City, and it would be wonderful to see you there.

With memorable speakers such as the Honorable Douglas Ginsburg, opportunities to connect with our partners from five continents, invigorating competitions (the $100,000 Templeton Freedom Award winner will be announced!) and our closing gala aboard a decommissioned 20th century aircraft carrier, there’s just so much to experience. I hope you'll come to hear firsthand how your investment in Atlas Network’s success is changing the world.

This year, we’re starting a new tradition to honor both our founder, Sir Antony Fisher, and an exceptional leader in the liberty movement. I’m pleased to announce the inaugural Sir Antony Fisher Achievement Award will be presented to Lawrence J. Mone at Freedom Dinner on Thursday, November 7.

Larry, who recently retired from his role as president of Manhattan Institute, has been one of the most influential figures in the liberty movement for nearly four decades. Guided by his leadership, today Manhattan Institute is one of America's most respected think tanks, and their work has been vital to the promotion of free market solutions to urban policy problems, particularly criminal justice, tax policy, welfare reform, and school choice. His insight as an educator and thought leader helped to establish City Journal, their quarterly publication, as one of the country's most important public policy magazines.

I'm also delighted that we're able to honor Sir Antony Fisher, Atlas Network's founder. His vision of establishing independent research institutes that could bring innovative, market-based perspectives to public policy issues began in 1955 with the Institute of Economic Affairs in London. Through his efforts, other think tanks began to grow, and he founded Atlas Network in 1981. You can read more about this remarkable man here.

If you are unable to join us for both days of Liberty Forum, please spend the evening with us at Freedom Dinner on Thursday, November 7 at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum on Chelsea Piers in Manhattan. Sponsorships are still available, and tickets can be purchased here

I hope you’ll join us as we honor these two extraordinary men for their work to advance our shared vision of freedom. I look forward to seeing you there!

Best,

 Brad Lips
