Last month we told you why this election was the most consequential in American history. We could raise wages, ensure safer workplaces, and make healthcare more affordable. We can also cancel student debt, legalize marijuana, and reform our democracy. It's all possible because of the friends you talked to, the voters you called, and the contributions you made. We learned that we still have a lot of work to do in Indiana (like, A LOT), but that when we come together and collectively decide that we want a President and Vice President that look forward instead of backward, we have the power to create change.
Now we have more work to do. Take all of the issues we mentioned already, and add in the future of our climate, criminal justice reform, and reversing a deep bench of conservative judges, and that is what is on the ballot on January 5th in Georgia. Two Senate seats are up, and Mitch McConnell's stranglehold on the Senate hangs in the balance. Here in Indiana, we're taking action to help turnout Democrats in Georgia and keep the state blue. One-on-one conversations continue to be the most effective way to turnout Democrats, and we'll be sharing opportunities to create change in Georgia for the next 48 days! Keep an eye on our social media for volunteer events!
