Our waiting list numbers are frightening

Hi,
255.
That’s the number of babies and children on our waitlist who need help before Christmas.
Shocking, isn’t it?
Please can I ask for your help today? [[link removed]] I know that together we can get that number down to zero before 25 December.
One of the children needing help right now is a 3 year old girl. She is being cared for by her grandparents. Lockdown has been a struggle in more ways than one. Both grandparents have health issues. It’s a long walk to the supermarket and they don’t have a pram. When this lovely grandmother was asked “How are you?”, the simple answer was “we’re not going well at all right now”.
The hour walk to and from the supermarket has been unbearable. This caring grandmother has carried the little girl more than half the way most days. By the time they get back home, everyone is exhausted.
They’ve asked for the simple things. Clean underwear, a pram, shoes, clothing. A book and toy pack would be a bonus.
As we approach the end of a very difficult year, many of you have asked what you can do to make a difference. The best way to help right now is by making a financial donation today [[link removed]].
Please donate now [[link removed]]
I promise that every single dollar counts. Your donation will be used to support the families on our waitlist as soon as tomorrow.
Christmas without a safe cot for a baby to sleep in, or a pram to make a trip to the shops easier, let alone toys and gifts, is the reality for many of these families right now.
Let’s change that, together.
Please make a donation today [[link removed]]. With your help, we can provide essential nursery equipment to every family before Christmas Day.
Kind Regards,
Julia
