In the richest country on earth, no one should suffer because they cannot afford healthcare

Friend --

In the richest country on earth, no one should suffer because they cannot afford healthcare. It’s time to stand up and achieve progressive healthcare reform to give everyone access to the quality care they deserve.

Please join me, insurance industry whistleblower Wendell Potter, and my colleagues Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal and Congresswoman Katie Porter, for a special virtual event on Wednesday, November 18 at 7:30 PM ET to discuss the fight ahead and how together, we can achieve healthcare for all Americans.

For far too long, healthcare in America has been treated as an employee perk instead of a human right.

COVID-19 has proven how vulnerable and costly our current healthcare system is. It’s time we stand up to the private corporations who protect a system that places profit above patients.

We have the power to demand a healthcare system that ensures that all Americans can lead a dignified life, but we need to be prepared to take private insurers head on in the battle for comprehensive reform.

Together, my colleagues Pramila Jayapal, Katie Porter, and I will join renowned insurance industry whistleblower Wendell Potter on November 18 to talk about the fight ahead and why we must prepare now. I hope you will join the conversation to learn more about how you can be a key ally in the fight to secure quality and accessible healthcare.

See you there,
