• Working to end the dog meat trade in S. Korea - Throughout 2020, LCA and S. Korean sister organization Animal Liberation Wave (ALW) increased pressure on S. Korea to end the dog meat trade. A petition urging President Moon Jae-in to ban dog meat garnered almost 50,000 signatures and a powerful statement was made when ALW and Seorak, a dog rescued from a slaughterhouse, delivered a message to the Blue House. Learn more.
