Friend,

I just read through your answers to our Post-Election Priorities Survey and the overwhelming majority of you are concerned about the state of our country, safety, and democracy. It's no wonder why.

After months of this crisis, Americans are still trying to make ends meet, small businesses are closing, and we're all worried about our loved ones' health. This November, Americans sent an unmistakable message at the ballot box that we need leaders who will put our health and safety first.

While Trump continues to ignore public health experts and make the crisis worse, Governor Gretchen Whitmer is leading by example -- just like she always has.

That's exactly the type of leadership we need from the top down, and why we're already planning on building the bench to re-elect Governor Whitmer and take back the State Legislature. So please, chip in $10 or more that way we can continue organizing year-round.

This virus doesn't care who you vote for, and neither should our leaders in Lansing and Washington who are responsible for preventing this crisis from getting worse. Instead of working with Governor Gretchen Whitmer to curb the spread, state Republicans would rather point fingers and take vacation.

President Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey may have given up this fight, but we can't afford to. So if you can afford it, please chip in $10 or whatever you can afford to help restore responsible leadership to Lansing.

Above all, we hope you can find time to take care of yourself and your loved ones as we all navigate this together.

Thank you,
