WHILE WARNOCK WANTS TO TAKE AWAY PRIVATE INSURANCE, LOEFFLER'S HEALTHCARE PLAN LOWERS COSTS AND COVERS PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS
ATLANTA – Last night, Raphael Warnock hosted a healthcare roundtable where he again highlighted his radical plan to expand government-takeover of healthcare and move America closer to a single-payer, socialized healthcare system. Warnock, who refuses to deny his support for Bernie Sanders' Medicare for All plan, has repeatedly advocated for radical healthcare reform that would dramatically increase costs, eliminate consumer choice, and take away private insurance for millions of Americans. His healthcare agenda calls for a government-run public option, along with a taxpayer-funded Medicaid expansion that would dramatically raise costs on Georgia families.
By contrast, conservative businesswoman and political outsider Kelly Loeffler's new healthcare plan covers pre-existing conditions, enhances consumer choice, lowers healthcare costs, and safeguards the doctor-patient relationship. The plan, released last week, also introduces new measures to incentivize American healthcare manufacturing and increase tele-health availability in rural communities. Loeffler's reform proposal has been praised heavily by independent groups like Americans for Tax Reform, who endorsed it as a "pro-growth, patient centered reform" that "contrasts the proposals put forth by the radical left to increase taxes and move the nation’s healthcare system closer toward socialism."
"Too many Americans are struggling to afford insurance premiums and access to quality, comprehensive healthcare--and Raphael Warnock would only make it worse" said Stephen Lawson, Communications Director for Georgians for Kelly Loeffler.
"Warnock wants a government takeover which would eliminate your private insurance, skyrocket costs, and turn your doctor's office into the DMV.
"Under Senator Loeffler's plan, Georgia families will have higher quality, more affordable healthcare that covers pre-existing conditions. Her plan also increases choice and transparency in the marketplace so American families will have the coverage they need at a price they can afford.
"When it comes to healthcare reform, there's only one candidate who has the real-world experience to improve outcomes for Georgia families. Warnock's socialist, government takeover of healthcare would be a complete disaster for Georgia families. Kelly Loeffler's patient-centered healthcare plan will increase access, reduce costs, and cover pre-existing conditions for every American."
