Representation is important, and whether it is supporting more Iranian Americans elected to office, working in civil society, or serving in government is central to our mission of building real power for our community.
That’s why I’m so excited to share NIAC Action’s latest initiative that will help increase Iranian-American representation within the federal government: the NIAC Action Presidential Appointment Survey. We are working with the Biden-Harris transition team to provide them talented candidates to serve in the Administration.
If you are interested in serving in a Biden Administration as a political appointee, we urge you to fill out our survey as early as possible. While this information will not be shared with the public, we will be forwarding it to the Biden transition team to consider in their staffing efforts.

This is a real opportunity for Iranian Americans to participate at all levels of policy-making. Your interest and application will help us demonstrate that we have a diverse pipeline of qualified Iranian Americans ready to serve in government. While there is no deadline to apply, we will be submitting your applications to the transition team on a rolling basis. Confirmed applicants will also be invited to join an exclusive session on the political appointments process.
