Friend, this is bonkers: As Georgia’s presidential recount winds down (with Joe Biden still ahead by thousands of votes), conservative Republican Brad Raffensperger, Georgia’s secretary of state, claims that Lindsey Graham called him and suggested that legally cast ballots in certain counties should be thrown out.

Make no mistake: This is a dry run for what Republicans will attempt with the Senate runoff—they’ll stop at nothing to keep these seats. Make sure Jon Ossoff and Rev. Warnock have the resources they need to protect the vote and help ensure every legally cast ballot is counted by chipping in $3 now:

The impulse to interfere in Georgia doesn’t stop with Graham—it extends to Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue themselves. They’ve sunk so low as to pressure their secretary of state to resign, citing election mismanagement and widespread voter fraud—even though there is NO evidence of any such dishonesty in Georgia’s election. The hysteria Loeffler and Perdue have helped whip up is so severe that Sec. Raffensperger and his family have received death threats.

Republicans know they can’t win these Senate seats in a fair fight on the issues—so they’ll try every trick in their playbook. They’ll flood the race with money (Lindsey Graham himself is transferring $1 million of his own campaign funds to back Loeffler and Perdue), sue to make voting harder and more inaccessible, invent ways to delegitimize legally cast ballots, and of course, issue a general cry of fraud after the election is over.

That’s what we’re up against—and fighting back is on us. Chip in now to win the fight for Georgia and Senate control—and to protect the vote while we do it:
