John,
While we’ve all been focused on the recent election results, there’s been news on the health care front.
The Supreme Court held a hearing last week to decide the fate of the entire Affordable Care Act. After failing to repeal the legislation countless times, Republicans are trying to use the courts to strip health insurance from 23 million Americans.
Will you sign our petition demanding that the Supreme Court uphold the Affordable Care Act and not strip health insurance from millions of Americans during a pandemic? [[link removed]]ADD YOUR NAME [[link removed]]
John, this lawsuit represents National Republicans’ third major court case in ten years to overturn the law. Crucially, they asked the Supreme Court to wait on ruling until after the election — because they knew taking health care away from millions of Americans wouldn’t be popular.
But now that the election is over, they are eagerly watching for the strengthened conservative majority on the court to ax the law.
With the election still dominating headlines, we can’t let this attack on our medical care go overlooked. That’s why I’m asking you to add your name to our petition demanding that affordable health care be protected — not abolished. [[link removed]]ADD YOUR NAME [[link removed]]
Thank you for your help,
— Matt
