Friend, the most important election of our lifetime is not over yet.

What we choose to do during this moment will shape the future of this country. We can let Mitch McConnell wield his Republican Senate majority to obstruct progress and attack the very character of our democracy, or we can turn the page and usher in a new era of leadership rooted in morality, unity and service.

That's why I'm proud to support my friend Reverend Raphael Warnock (D) in Georgia's runoff Senate race, and I'm going to do everything I can to make sure we send him to Washington so he can deliver real change for the American people.

He is a civil rights champion who's running for Senate to flip Georgia blue and restore moral leadership to Washington. As the senior pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church, the spiritual home of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Reverend Warnock believes his impact doesn't stop at the church door - it's where it begins.

With The Washington Post reporting that a win in Georgia is key to taking back the Senate for Democrats, Mitch McConnell and Washington Republicans are pulling out all the stops to keep this battleground state red. So today, I'm humbly asking for your help in fighting back: Will you please give $5 or whatever you can right now to help Reverend Warnock raise $20,000 by midnight to flip Georgia blue and take back the Senate for Democrats?

Reverend Warnock has a tough fight ahead - but I know Georgia is ready for change. When I was on the campaign trail, I was struck by the shared concerns of voters from Atlanta, Georgia, to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Americans I talked to across the country were tired of the division and hungry for a leader who would put their concerns - from health care to a living wage - first.

That's exactly the kind of leader Reverend Warnock is - but, with the GOP in control of the Senate, those aren't the kind of leaders we have right now. That's why it couldn't be more important to put everything we can into this race, which will decide if President Biden can enact a progressive agenda - or not.

But here's where we are right now, friend: Reverend Warnock has a narrow lead over his far-right GOP opponent, and the GOP has trained their sights and their millions on Georgia. If we don't help him hold this lead now, we will lose this race and our last chance to take back the Senate majority from Mitch McConnell.
