Dear Friend,

Will you join us tomorrow at 2pm ET for the virtual launch of our new report, Disfigured History: How the College Board Demolishes the Past? The report details the careless, politicized history in the College Board's revisions to the Advanced Placement (AP) European, United States, and World History examinations.

Our report offers recommendations for how the College Board, the company behind the college entrance exam SAT and AP exams, can adjust its exams to avoid cutting historical facts and adding revisionist Marxist history. Should the College Board fail in these reforms, as it has every year since 2014, we recommend that that a competitor to the Board be created and adopted by colleges and high schools.

The launch event will include NAS's Research Director and author of Disfigured History, David Randall; Jack Miller, Chairman of the Board of the Jack Miller Center; Lindsey Burke, Director of the Center for Education Policy and the Will Skillman Fellow in Education at the Heritage Foundation; and Tom Lindsay, distinguished senior fellow of higher education and constitutional studies at the Texas Public Policy Foundation. The event will be moderated by Dr. Susan Hanssen, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of History at the University of Dallas.

I hope to see you (virtually!) tomorrow at 2 pm ET! You can learn more about and register for the event here.

Yours,
Peter Wood
