On Saturday, November 7, all major news outlets called the presidential election for President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.
Since then, additional states including Arizona and Georgia have been called for Biden-Harris, further-confirming the will of the people.
Joe Biden has captured the highest percentage of the popular vote of any presidential challenger since Franklin D. Roosevelt defeated Herbert Hoover in 1932.[1] He has equaled Trump’s 2016 “landslide” of 306 electoral votes. And yet, Trump and his minions continue to block the Biden-Harris transition team from accessing vital information and resources, which they are legally entitled to as part of the Presidential Transition Act of 1963.

Yesterday, President-elect Biden said at a news conference that the Trump administration’s failure to coordinate on the transition means that “more people may die” from COVID-19.[2]
Last weekend, Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has served through six administrations, voiced his concern that the Trump administration continues to block the Biden-Harris team’s access to critical information, including details about the COVID-19 vaccine and its distribution to over 300 million Americans.[3]
Trump’s own former National Security Advisor John Bolton indicated that “every day that [Trump] delays... ultimately is to the country's disadvantage,” discussing how this obstruction poses a national security risk.[4]
Emily Murphy has the authority to determine when the presidential election appears to have a winner so that the winner’s team gets the resources needed to run the transition, get national security briefings, and coordinate a national COVID-19 response plan with public health officials across the government so that the American people are protected on day-one of the Biden-Harris administration.
