Dear John,

Urgent action needed: Stop the Line 3 Tar Sands Oil Pipeline.

[[link removed]]Minnesota Governor Tim Walz just approved the permits for the Line 3 Pipeline.
Construction could begin immediately. Urgent action needed: Stop the Line 3 Pipeline before it’s too late!

Line 3 would be an enormous 760,000-barrel-a-day tar sands oil pipeline. It
would transport some of the dirtiest oil in the world from Alberta through the
U.S.

This pipeline threatens wild rice beds and treaty territory sacred to the
Anishinaabe people. And it would further contribute to climate chaos. We need
your help to stop it before construction begins!

Tell the Minnesota Attorney General: Stop the Line 3 Pipeline NOW!

[[link removed]]Line 3 may not be as infamous as the Keystone XL and TransMountain pipelines,
but its impacts would be no less devastating. The route for the pipeline would cut through the 1854 and 1855 treaty territory
of the Anishinaabe people, jeopardizing sacred wild rice and more than 200
waterways including the Mississippi River.

Right now, there are pending legal challenges to the pipeline from tribal
nations, young people, and environmental advocates. But Governor Waltz’s actions
would allow pipeline construction to begin before those legal challenges can
play out.

Simply put, this pipeline would harm communities and the environment -- all so
Big Oil can earn more profits.

Take action now: Line 3 Pipeline construction could begin immediately! Act fast
to stop it.

– and winning. Duke and Dominion Energy abandoned their plans to build the
Atlantic Coast Pipeline through the Southeast U.S. this summer, after years of
opposition from locals. And the insurance companies backing the Trans Mountain
Pipeline are pulling their support left and right.

But we can’t rely on giant companies like Duke and the insurance industry to
stop Big Oil . The companies behind Line 3 are champing at the bit to begin construction. So
we need our government decision-makers to step in.

Together, we can stop Line 3 and keep tar sands out of communities in the Upper
Midwest. But we’re running out of time, John.

Urgent action needed: Stop the Line 3 Pipeline!
