And now, there's this:

Washington Post: "Purdue Pharma, drugmaker accused of fueling the opioid epidemic, files for bankruptcy"

When working people use the word "bankrupt," that means "broke" - as in "out of money."

When corporate executives say "bankrupt," they mean, "We need to dodge taking responsibility for anything that threatens our massive personal fortunes."

Here's what this means in concrete terms: Purdue Pharma execs will spend the next several months, even years, trying not to pay for the damage they caused.

Not on my watch, John.

I'm running for Attorney General to hold them accountable for every life they ruined just to line their pockets. Contribute $3 now to support the fight!

My opponent has never tried a case in court. His legal experience boils down to:

Serving as Mitch McConnell's lawyer;
Lobbying for Purdue Pharma.

Trusting him to represent Kentuckians against Big Pharma is like trusting a fox to defend the henhouse from another fox.

I was the first Attorney General in the nation to defeat the opioid manufacturers in court. That means I'm the last person they want in the AGs office. That's why they're pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into this race.

Me? I've got grassroots supporters like you, who see the opioid crisis as a plague, and who are ready to stand up and fight.

Chip in $3 now to join the movement to make sure Purdue Pharma execs answer for their crimes against working Kentuckians.
