Team,
It's been two weeks since Election Day, and somehow Donald Trump is still in denial about the decisive defeat he suffered at the polls. We're already more than halfway through November -- and in a moment I’ll ask you to chip in to help us reach our mid-November donor goal (so feel free to click here and donate now!), but first I want to tell you about what this time means for our democracy, and for Team Connolly.
Although the election is over, there is still a lot of uncertainty and fear. The fate of the Senate hangs in the balance and the President refuses to concede the election, jeopardizing America's health during our pandemic and our national security.
We couldn’t be more grateful for our win this election, but Gerry has to run for re-election every two years, and our next election has already begun. We deserve to celebrate, but now is not the time to get complacent!
Right now, we’re working to get Donald Trump to concede the election and begin the transition to President Biden. And Gerry has been leading that fight in Congress. But we need to build our resources to win the Senate, usher in a peaceful transition of the presidency, and ensure we don’t give up a single Democratic seat in the House next election. So, can we count on you to support our efforts? We need just 78 more donors to step up to reach our mid-month goal →
Thanks so much, team! We can’t do this without you.
