Every single day families and health workers are suffering from a lack of the basic medical supplies and resources they need to survive. Right at this moment, families in Honduras and Nicaragua are facing their second devastating hurricane in less than a month — forcing many into shelters where social distancing is impossible and protective supplies like masks are desperately needed.
COVID-19 has made health care systems around the world more fragile. And, where communities were already straining under the weight of humanitarian and natural disasters, the added pressure can mean fewer healthy babies born, more people debilitated by disease and ultimately, more lives lost.

Since our founding more than 60 years ago, we’ve trained more than 1 million health care workers with the skills they need to save and transform lives around the globe. Project HOPE provides medications, supplies and specialized training for health workers in the most vulnerable communities so that everyone — no matter where they are born — can live a healthy and hopeful life.
