November 17, 2020: Sixty-one percent (61%) of voters nationwide believe it is possible to know for certain which candidate won the election in swing states where the election was very close. A PoliticalIQ.com survey found that 24% don’t think it’s possible, while 15% are not sure.[1]
Eighty-six percent (86%) of Democrats believe it is possible to know who won those states. Independents, by a 52% to 26% margin, agree.[1]
However, Republicans are evenly divided. Forty-one percent (41%) believe it is possible to know, and 41% say it is not.[1]
