The 2020 election will not heal the divisiveness in our nation—nor will immigration quickly cease to be a polarizing issue. That’s why we launched the Center for Inclusion and Belonging.

Dear John,

The 2020 election will not heal the divisiveness in our nation—nor will immigration quickly cease to be a polarizing issue.

That’s why we launched the Center for Inclusion and Belonging.

The Center will be working to reshape public narratives away from those that reinforce America as a divided nation. Instead, it will amplify the narrative of our tradition as a home to successive generations of dreamers and doers who have helped to build an America where we work, live, and cooperate across our differences.

Watch Wendy Feliz, founder and director of the Center, explain why we need to forge this new sense of connectedness.

We must act now to make this vision a reality. And that’s why the Council proposed a White House Council for National Unity.

The American Immigration Council is committed to creating a cohesive America where we are all welcomed and included and where good immigration policy is embraced and can thrive. We invite you to learn more about the Center and join us in creating a more welcoming nation.

Sincerely,

Wendy Feliz
Director of the Center for Inclusion and Belonging
