In the last month, the vulnerabilities of our election system have come back into focus:

Cybersecurity experts have warned us repeatedly about the vulnerabilities of paperless electronic voting machines — including the new ones Georgia is about to purchase. Hand-marked paper ballots are the only way to ensure secure elections.

Republicans across the country — including some of our own GOP opponents — refuse to acknowledge the problem. They know that fair and secure elections deliver more Democratic victories, and they’re willing to do anything to prevent them.
