As I’ve been reflecting on 2020 so far, it’s become clear how much our world needs joy right now. This year has certainly changed the ways in which we live, work and worship.

It’s brought on severe challenges, especially across Africa where there are already complex social issues.

This pandemic has presented a particular challenge to Gospel proclamation in Africa, as church gatherings have been deemed non-essential.

However, your African Enterprise family is still committed to sharing the Gospel in Word and Deed – and reaching the goal of helping 100,000 people commit to following Jesus this year.

That’s why I’m reaching out to you today.

There’s a funding gap of $ 150,000 that must be closed by Christmas to keep this mission work going and to cover the costs of the radical pivot caused by COVID-19.

Even though churches haven’t been able to gather, and large public mission events are prohibited, the generous support of partners like you has ensured that evangelism has continued during the pandemic.

Through your partnership, African Enterprise has developed a new home-based strategy for evangelism, allowing people to connect in meaningful ways without having to leave home.









This new strategy for evangelism is bearing wonderful fruit, but your help is needed to ensure that it endures into 2021 as the world continues to shoulder the burden of COVID-19.

Despite the difficulties of COVID-19, together we can still reach this goal of changing 100,000 lives with Jesus’ love – because with God no change or challenge is too great!

David was stuck at home during the COVID-19 lockdown and turned to the internet for entertainment and connection. A friend sent him a link to an AE evangelism site, and David was intrigued.

For several weeks, he talked online with the AE team, asking questions and learning about the Gospel.

Before long, David decided to follow Jesus!

He will soon be baptised, when it’s safe – something he will travel 250 kilometres out of Tunisia for. What an incredible commitment!
