Did you catch the news, John?

Donald Trump is coming to San Diego tomorrow.

The details are sparse, but we know he’s headlining a major fundraiser for his 2020 re-election bid and the National Republican Party.

Why anyone in our community would contribute to Trump’s campaign is a mystery to us. This year alone he’s tried to shutdown the southern border -- a move that would devastate our local economy. Time and again he’s plotted to expand offshore drilling on our coasts. And just today, the news dropped that Trump is trying to revoke California’s authority to regulate auto emissions standards.

But hey, folks are entitled to their political beliefs. The same way we’re entitled to ruin his visit with a fundraising push of our own. What do you say, John?

Can you help us stick it to Trump while he's in our backyard? We’ll never match the $15 million in special interest cash he’s set to raise. But if hundreds of us chip in $15 or more while he’s in town, we can send a strong message that we’re ready to defeat his allies in California.
