After Election Day, when it became clear that establishment Democrats
underperformed in districts across the country, centrists were so quick to
point the finger at progressive and blame us for their losses.

Establishment Democrats are coming after our movement and leaders like
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez because we’re fighting to dismantle the status
quo.

The Democratic establishment is alienating the base and disrespecting
racial justice activists by attacking the movement to defund the police
instead of investing in health care, education, and mental health
services.

We need a Democratic Party dedicated to economic and racial justice. We
cannot allow billionaires on FOX News to divide and conquer. We must
invest in our working class to create good-paying jobs, a strong safety
net, and shared prosperity for all, not just for those on the top.

Working-class leaders like Cori Bush, Jamaal Bowman, and AOC are the
future of the Democratic Party. But creating that future and fully
transforming the Democratic Party will take a lot of resources.
