POLITICO: “Following the news [of Biden’s victory], 70 percent of Republicans now say they don’t believe the 2020 election was free and fair, a stark rise from the 35 percent of GOP voters who held similar beliefs before the election.”

 

That’s right, friend. Millions of Americans now think the election is unfair simply because their candidate lost. They’re sore losers -- but unfortunately for us, they’re also dangerous.

 

We cannot maintain our democracy if both sides aren’t willing to accept the basic reality of the outcome of an election. And a significant chunk of the Republicans who don’t trust the election results now expects them to be overturned. We can’t have half the population throwing a temper tantrum to get what they want -- especially if what they want is four more years of Trump.

 

We need to defend democracy and defend the outcome of the election. We need to show that there are more Americans who trust the electoral process than those who distrust it -- and we need to show it now. Will you help us? Tell us your view:
