Senator David Perdue's refusal to debate Democrat Jon Ossoff
sums up the dynamic in this high stakes runoff election -- David
Purdue is busy trying to hide from his record. That's why it's so
fitting that the Atlanta Press Club has decided to go ahead with
the December 6th debate and let Perdue be represented by an empty
podium.
Instead of addressing the issues, Senator Perdue's campaign
strategy is to flood the airwaves with vicious attacks ads
against Ossoff and the "threat" of a Democratic Senate Majority --
presenting himself as the "last line of defense against the
liberal socialist agenda that the Democrats will perpetuate."
