John,
The day I dread most is less than one month away: Dec. 14, the day my beautiful butterfly Dylan was murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary.
On that day, I try to focus on the wonderful parts of my life with Dylan. But I never can. It's too hard – I just miss my beautiful baby boy.
When all I want to do is give in, start crying and never stop, it's your support that keeps me going. Next month, we'll mark eight years since Dylan's murder – and as much as I want to forget it, we must remember what happened on Dec. 14, 2012. We must continue fulfilling our promise to protect other children from gun violence – and there's still so much more to do.
That's why I hope you'll join me in wearing a special Sandy Hook Promise T-shirt to remember 12/14 this year. Supporters like you can wear your shirt to show your commitment to protecting children from gun violence, and every T-shirt you order helps us continue our lifesaving work.
But the deadline to order is Wednesday, and we only have 1,146 remaining. Please, will you give $26 now to receive your T-shirt by Dec. 14?
Please give $26 to Sandy Hook Promise now to receive your "Change Starts with a Promise," "Giving It All I Got" or 12/14 remembrance T-shirt.

I will always miss my beautiful butterfly Dylan – his infectious giggles, how he looked at the moon, how he loved chocolate. But everything you do to make this work possible keeps me going on the worst days, and I can't thank you enough for that.
Thanks to you, we will build a safer world for all of our children – and for that I am so grateful.
With love,
Nicole Hockley (Dylan's mom)
