“Even with Georgia runoff, Facebook and Google continue their bans on political ads” -- NBC News

Hey John --
Not sure if you’ve heard but Facebook and Google are continuing to ban all political ads on their sites. This means that ads containing critical information -- like how to register to vote online, request an absentee ballot, or look up a polling place -- aren’t getting in front of folks in Georgia who may need it.
This does not mean our work ends. The deadline to register to vote in Georgia’s Senate runoff races is less than a month away -- a donation from you supports our last push of organizing to make sure everyone’s ready. Can you pitch in?

We registered about half a million voters online for the 2020 election year. Since we don’t have the power of ads on our side right now, we’re ramping up our direct outreach efforts -- phone banking, text banking, sending mail, and so much more -- to make sure everyone who is eligible to vote in Georgia is registered and ready for January. We only have until December 7th to register more voters.
We know that these tactics work, John. In Arizona, we sent 856,948 peer-to-peer texts during this election -- and we helped turn the state blue. Right now, we’re in the home stretch and we need your help to bring that same state-flipping energy to Georgia.
