A short time ago, Heritage Action released a poll showing that the greatest concern with illegal immigration, to most Americans, is the abuse of social services. 

In fact, 37% of likely voters listed “overuse of social services” as “the biggest challenge illegal immigrants pose to America,” and that number jumps to 50% when considering respondents who answered “all of the above”.

President Trump responded to those concerned Americans by announcing his new public charge rule that will protect American taxpayers, preserve our social safety net for vulnerable Americans, and uphold the rule of law.

But earlier today, Sens. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) and Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) introduced a bill to block this important immigration rule.
