Dear friend,
As you may recall, leadership of the United States House of Representatives pulled a scheduled vote on the MORE Act -- a bill to federally legalize marijuana and expand the commercial pot industry nationwide.
Now, after the election in the "lame duck" session, leadership in the House are once again signaling they will bring the bill to a vote.
This bill will not be passed by the Senate, and after the House’s widely publicized rejection of bringing the bill to a vote last month (thanks to your efforts) it is what many DC insiders are calling an embarrassing “consolation vote.”
While the move is widely seen as a show vote, WE STILL NEED TO LET OFFICES HEAR OUR VOICES NOW.
