Joe Biden has proposed a plan to provide a public health insurance option that expands on the Affordable Health Care Act and could insure as many as 25 million more Americans.

The proposed plan hopes to protect Americans, especially those in vulnerable communities, during the coronavirus pandemic, and could act as a safeguard if Trump's conservative majority in the Supreme Court dismantles the Affordable Care Act.

But moderate Democrats claim that public health insurance is overly ambitious -- while Republicans say that providing millions of Americans access to affordable health care, which would protect American lives, is an unforgivable socialist tactic.

And despite its benefits, Americans remain divided on proposed forms of public health care. As Biden restructures his legislative priorities, we're conducting our own poll to gauge where Democratic supporters like you stand. Please, tell us now:
