It's also the strangest presidential election season EVER, as the voting is done, no winner is declared with any certainty due to litigation and recounts, and our campaign workers are looking for places to campaign, but have no place to go...
This past Saturday, Washington, D.C. was host to a MAGA rally. The rally was classified under the somewhat new terminology of "peaceful protest." In contrast to the peaceful protests held earlier this summer in our nation's capitol, we observed the following from the principal protesters:
NO broken windows
NO burned buildings
NO injured protesters
NO injured bystanders
NO injured law enforcement officers
NO injured first responders
NO fires in the streets
NO weapons on display
NO thrown bricks
NO blockades of fire vehicles
NO blockades of police vehicles
NO blockades of ambulances
AND the streets were left as clean or cleaner than before the MAGA crowd arrived.
IT SHOULD BE NOTED that there were minor outbreaks of violence among counter-protesters. CNN and other left-leaning media outlets explained the violence as a natural response to the mere presence of the purely peaceful MAGA crowd, implying that the violence was the fault of the MAGA crowd for having had the gall to appear in public.
