I believe in a Michigan where every adult can get a good job, with a high wage, and have access to quality, affordable health care.

Michigan is the state that put the world on wheels. And those workers, standing on assembly lines -- and picket lines -- year after year, helped build the middle class of this country.

Because of their work -- and their struggles -- they delivered higher wages, critical protections, and better benefits for all of us.

That’s why I’m proud to stand with the UAW members who are exercising their right to negotiate for higher wages and better working conditions.

To striking GM workers: Thank you for standing up, and I’m with you.
