The latest buzz is that a certain mayor of South Bend, Indiana could be well on his way to Joe Biden’s cabinet.
POLITICO has reported that Pete Buttigieg is being considered for Veterans Affairs Secretary, with some additional speculation that he could also be the next U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
Buttigieg has been a stalwart champion for Biden on the campaign trail, stumping for the president-elect at rallies and even going onto Fox News to spar with Republicans on their own turf. As POLITICO reports, these efforts now mean that “Buttigieg has some chips to cash in with Biden.”
