Dear John,
Remember when Joe Biden used to be a "moderate" on abortion? For forty years, he supported the Hyde Amendment, which keeps federal money from funding most abortions. He once wrote to a constituent that “As you may know, I have consistently — on no fewer than 50 occasions — voted against federal funding of abortions.” To be sure, there is no such thing as a real "abortion moderate." Either you support the killing of children in the womb, or you don't.
But when Joe Biden launched his presidential campaign last year, he quickly disavowed forty years of abortion "moderation" to appeal to the pro-abortion radicals in his party.
Fast-forward to November 2020, and Joe Biden is the projected President-elect (pending litigation in several states). Would a Biden Administration Protect Lives in the Womb?
Unfortunately, the answer is clear. Joe Biden's statements tell us that he is now a pro-abortion radical, whatever he may have said in the past. And with pro-abortion radical Kamala Harris as Vice President, should they take office we would certainly see a rollback of great pro-life federal rules like the Mexico City Policy, which prevents the federal government from funding abortions in foreign countries.
That's why it's time to #GiveForLife. In Minnesota and nationwide, pro-abortion radicals could use the cover of a pandemic to push through pro-abortion rules that would increase the total number of abortions, as well as the number of abortions funded by you, the taxpayer, just as we saw abortion clinics stay open during the first phase of the pandemic, while other clinics had to close. That's why we need your help.
Make no mistake: we will not stop fighting for life until the number of abortions falls to zero. We want to build a culture of LIFE in Minnesota and around the country, and with your help, we can do it. During this giving season, #GiveForLife for a future in which children in the womb are SAFE.
