Earlier this month, Vice President Pence stayed at President Trump's hotel in Ireland even though it was nearly 200 miles away from where his official meetings were held.

And before that, an Air Force National Guard crews spent the night at Trump's property in Scotland while en route to another destination, foregoing the less expensive options the Air Force usually uses.

Our Founding Fathers were wary of corruption. That's why our Constitution contains the Emoluments Clause to prevent presidents from profiting from their role while in the White House.

Taxpayer dollars should not be used to boost the profits of Trump's company. They should be used to rebuild the infrastructure that connects our communities and to ensure access to health care for everyone.

I'm committed to getting to the truth for the American people. President Trump should be committed to transparency, too.

Do you think Trump should be held accountable?
