Indivisibles,

2021 is fast approaching -- and with it, the chance to win so many of the
progressive priorities we’ve been building toward for four years. Today,
we want to give you a quick preview of the core issues we’re planning to
fight for next year and how you can be a part of that fight right now
(spoiler: one big way is to [ [link removed] ]give to help us prepare for all this work).

We have five main issues we’re expecting to focus on in 2021:

* Democracy reform. Unrigging our democracy is our top priority next
year -- not only is it the key to building a government that’s
responsive and representative, but it’s also a crucial prerequisite
for permanent wins on everything else we care about.

* Economic justice. Between growing wealth inequality, a
pandemic-accelerated unemployment crisis, and a long list of policies
that serve to line the pockets of the wealthy white elite at the
expense of everyone else, it’s time to demand an economy that works
for the people.

* Climate. We don’t have time to waste to combat climate change -- we
need bold, transformative policies that will reimagine everything from
energy sources to transportation and will protect communities,
especially immigrant, low-income, and communities of color, from the
worst effects of the climate crisis.

* Health care. We’ve been fending off attacks on the Affordable Care Act
since our earliest days -- and the COVID-19 pandemic has made it
clearer than ever that access to affordable, equitable health care is
key to a justice-oriented society that empowers vulnerable
communities.

* Immigration. The anti-immigrant nativism that’s gripping much of our
politics must be stopped, and we’re committed to winning relief and
rejecting efforts to further entrench our punitive enforcement system.

Through all these issues runs a connecting thread of racial justice --
which we’re committed to recognizing and prioritizing as we develop our
action plans throughout the year. And of course, though these are our core
priorities, we’ll be responding to new developments and policy proposals
as they come along as well.

These are issues that Indivisible groups have repeatedly said they want to
prioritize. But just like we can’t do any of this work without you, we
also can’t fund it without you -- [ [link removed] ]click here to make a $10 gift to make
this and all our work possible.

We’re hard at work building out what our plans look like on all these
advocacy issues, but here’s what we know right now:

* Administrative advocacy will be a big part of our strategy -- we know
none of our fights will come easy, and we’re going to need to make
sure the Biden administration pulls every lever they’ve got to undo
the damage of the last four years and build something better.

* Our digital organizing efforts will continue to be crucial -- with the
uncertainty of a pandemic still over our heads, we’ll need to deploy
and refine all the digital tactics we’ve used in 2020 to reimagine
what advocacy looks like in this era.

* Grassroots Indivisibles are key to the movement's success -- our deep
network of local groups working for change in their communities have
accomplished amazing things, and we’re constantly building out our
suite of resources, tools, and trainings to help empower and support
those groups and strengthen the movement.

We’re getting started by prepping for all this work right now, and we’ve
got a goal of raising almost $200,000 in these last two months of the year
to help us hit the ground running. All our digital tools and
advertisements, the resources we provide to groups, the hundreds of hours
our policy experts will spend fleshing out plans for each piece of our
agenda -- it all costs money. We rely on grassroots supporters, not
corporations or politicians, to make that possible: [ [link removed] ]give $10 to fund
our advocacy efforts and support all our plans for next year.

everything you’ve done to get us here, and we’re ready to jump together
into this next phase of our work.

In solidarity,
Indivisible Team
