Working America

Friend,

It’s no secret that across the country, in offices and on factory floors, working people face harassment on the job. A new bill introduced in the House, called BE HEARD in the Workplace Act, would be the first comprehensive federal legislation to fix our broken laws to address workplace harassment and abuse.

Tell Congress: Pass the BE HEARD in the Workplace Act to protect workers and prevent harassment.

Everyone deserves safety at work, and that means being free from harassment on the job. When it comes to tackling harassment, we’ve come so far—but we have a long way to go.

That’s why we need to make sure that Congress passes this bill, which would expand anti-harassment protections to all working people, independent contractors and unpaid interns included. It also would force employers to be proactive in preventing harassment, explicitly protect LGBTQ workers and so much more.

When it comes to harassment on the job, action from Congress is long overdue. Sign the petition to tell members of Congress: Pass the BE HEARD in the Workplace Act.

Together, let’s make work safe for all workers.

Solidarity,

Sydney Roberts
