Hello,

Former presidential candidate Andrew Yang warned us of what comes next: "There is a real need to address the roots of Trumpism. The temptation will be, now that Joe has defeated Trump, to say, 'We are done with Trumpism, the fever has broken, and everything will be back to normal now."

The fact is that many of us eagerly waited for a resounding rebuke of Donald Trump's disastrous presidency this election -- and it never came.

Instead, we got a presidential race as tight as it was in 2016 -- and Trump received more votes than any Republican presidential candidate in history. Rather than condemning Trump's inhumane actions, Americans willingly applauded and expanded support for Trumpism.

The New York Times has described Trumpism as "a performance of nationalism, one that triangulates between open chauvinism in favor of the dominant ethnic group and narrow appeals to inclusion, with the promise of material gain for anyone who joins his coalition."

This is a trend we've seen play out with authoritarians and populist leaders across the world, and now Americans are buying it. Trump even received major support in traditionally Democratic constituencies. We're extremely concerned with Trump's growing base, which is why we need to know where Democrats like you stand:

Do you support Trumpism?
