In a moment, I’m going to ask you to donate to my Senate campaign in Georgia and take back the Senate for Democrats. But first, I hope you’ll give me the chance to tell you my story. With things happening so fast in Georgia, I haven’t really shared with you what I’m about and why I’m in this race.
My name is Reverend Raphael Warnock. I never imagined I'd run for the Senate. I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth -- not even close. My father was a small business owner and a preacher, and my mother spent summers picking tobacco and cotton. I had 11 brothers and sisters and grew up in public housing. But from there, I went on to earn a college degree and worked my way up to serving as the senior pastor at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s church.
Now, I'm running to become Georgia's first-ever Black senator and to expand access to health care, defend the dignity of working people, and fight voter suppression. I have nothing but faith that we can win this election if grassroots progressives support our campaign and the crucial organizing work it will take to win.

Only a few months ago, folks thought turning Georgia blue was a long shot -- now I’m heading into a runoff against an unelected GOP incumbent.
Winning in Georgia is Democrats' last and only shot at taking back the Senate. But with polls showing this race neck and neck, Mitch McConnell and the GOP are coming after me with everything they've got.
Without a Democratic majority, President Biden will have NO chance to enact our bold, progressive agenda. Winning is entirely dependent upon reaching Georgians all over the state, encouraging them to vote, and drowning out a barrage of right-wing attacks. All that work requires tremendous resources, which is why I am asking:
Thank you,
-- Raphael Warnock
