Turkey Tales
Farm Sanctuary is home to dozens of rescued turkeys. These amazing birds have unique personalities and emotional lives, which they are able to fully express at Sanctuary.
In November we honor our turkey residents-through events like Celebration for the Turkeys and through sponsorship programs like Adopt a Turkey. Our hope is that more people will view these animals with curiosity and treat them with the compassion they deserve.

This week, our Humane Educators are leading two fun online classes for kids that celebrate turkeys. These classes are a great way to introduce young ones to what makes these bright birds so special!

"Under the Willow Tree with Turkey Friends" Sing-along and Puppet Show
A LIVE Zoom webinar class for pre-K to 1st grade
Join us under the willow tree for a special feast alongside our turkey friends. Through a colorful and engaging puppet show, we will introduce you to our resident turkeys and treat them to their favorite foods. Then, one of Farm Sanctuary's humane educators will host a sing-along to a turkey-inspired song (download the lyrics below)! Bring any questions you have about turkeys for a "Turkey Talk" Q&A at the end of the program.

Learn about the wonderful turkeys who call Farm Sanctuary home in this fun and engaging presentation. Listen to their inspiring rescue stories and you'll see why every year we host a celebration in their honor.
