“Rep. Delgado calls GOP inaction on gun control 'naked corruption'”
- The Daily Freeman

Hey --

Did you see the news out of Upstate New York?

Antonio Delgado is holding Mitch McConnell accountable for his steadfast refusal to allow any gun-safety reform measures to move in the Senate, calling it “naked corruption.”

Democrats in the House already passed H.R. 8 back in March to achieve long-overdue universal background checks -- a baseline measure backed by 90 percent of Americans -- to address gun violence. Now, Antonio and Democratic leaders are pushing legislation to outlaw high-capacity magazines and ban assault weapons.

But Mitch McConnell refuses to allow any of these measures to come up for a vote in the Senate -- obstructing the will of the people in favor of special interests like the NRA.

To help counter the NRA, the gun lobby, and McConnell’s obstruction, Antonio has been meeting with Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense and concerned constituents all across the district who just want to feel safe in their communities again.

Look, we are at a critical juncture in the fight to pass gun-safety reform, and Antonio wants to know what you think should be done. Will you take a quick important survey to help him take on Mitch McConnell and the NRA?
