One 2019 survey found that almost half of young people in America would “prefer living in a socialist country.” In another recent survey, 56 percent of voters between the ages of 18 and 24, and 48 percent of voters between 25 and 34, favored a “mostly socialist” economic model for the United States.

These are shocking statistics. Here’s why:

These voters are the primary supporters of the progressives running for office nationwide at all levels of government. Their campaigns echo the idea proclaimed by the media elite on their magazine covers: “We are all socialists now.”
