This is monumental—Georgia has not voted for a Democrat for president in 28 years. This is the result of tireless work by grassroots organizers and a fearless fight against voter suppression by leaders like Stacey Abrams, built on the decades-long efforts of heroes like John Lewis.

And there’s even better news. Not only is this a historic win, it’s also a fantastic sign for what we can accomplish in the Georgia Senate runoff in January: the two Senate seats already flipped by Democrats this cycle were in states won by Joe Biden.
