Americans have more than one reason to let out a sigh of relief. According to CNBC, “the Affordable Care Act seems likely to withstand its third challenge at the Supreme Court.”
During arguments for the Republican-sponsored attempts to strike the ACA, two of the conservative judges on the bench suggested that they wouldn’t dismantle the landmark legislation -- a growing relief for millions of Americans who rely on the ACA for affordable health care.
But we’re not out of the woods yet. As CNN reports, “Oral arguments aren’t necessarily an indication of how justices will rule.” Observers of oral arguments have gotten it wrong many, many times in the past.
We know that the GOP is determined to strip millions of their health care, and all signs suggest that Mitch McConnell will use his Senate to block Biden’s health care plans.
