With COVID-19 cases skyrocketing across the nation, it’s the duty of every representative to provide their constituents with accurate information that will keep them safe. Instead, Marjorie Taylor Greene is actively encouraging citizens to cover their eyes and their ears — but not their faces.
This is serious, John. People will hear the Congresswoman-elect's message, let their guard down, and risk getting sick or even dying. There are real consequences for what leaders say, which is a lesson I sincerely hope Marjorie learns sooner rather than later — for all our sakes.
The true irony is that a reporter shared a picture proving that, despite her bluster, Marjorie actually did wear a mask to this new member orientation meeting. So, she’s not enough of a rebel to defy House rules, but apparently enough of one to get her constituents killed with bogus propaganda. Sad.
