Hello, Friends —

The news media does not certify elections — state governments do.

With recounts and audits underway in many states, and irregularities, discrepancies, and oddities continuing to pile up, the 2020 election is far from “settled.”

This week, I appeared on Hannity and The Next Revolution with Steve Hilton to discuss the election, and much more. Watch the interviews below:

The House will be back in session next week, and, as always, there’s a lot to discuss!

REMINDER: The deadline to register with FEMA for disaster assistance is Dec. 1, 2020.

Please note: FEMA mobile registration centers in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties will close permanently at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14.

PROTECTING OUR BORDERS

This week, the crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Decisive returned home after seizing $20.3 million worth of cocaine and marijuana in southern Florida. On this 40 day mission, the crew interdicted nearly 900 pounds of cocaine and 2,735 pounds of marijuana.

I applaud their efforts, and look forward to seeing what they will continue accomplishing in the future.

WINGS OF GOLD

LTJG Connor Black, a graduate of Navarre High School, earned his Wings of Gold last weekend at Naval Air Station Whiting Field. Black was inspired to fly by his high school teacher, a retired Navy helicopter pilot.

It is because of the strength of our military community that we continue to turn out future leaders like LTJG Black. I am proud to represent a district so focused on defending the values that have made our country great.

GAETZ IN THE NEWS

Breitbart News — November 13, 2020

GOP Rep. Gaetz: “Those Dominion Software Systems — They Changed More Votes than Vladimir Putin Ever Did”

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) was critical of how votes were counted in last week’s presidential election. Gaetz pointed to the unlikely demographic of recently registered voters and potential flaws in voting systems manufactured by Dominion to bolster his claim.

Post-Trump Reforms Must Not Serve Partisan Interests

Even Rep. Matt Gaetz, a conservative Florida Republican, and liberal California Democratic Ro Khanna — who sit as far apart on the ideological spectrum as two members could get — can find agreement to these three ideas: ending gerrymandering, closing the revolving door, and enacting term limits. “Khanna-Gaetz. We could run on that and unite 80% of the country,” Gaetz says to a nodding Khanna in the recent HBO documentary, “The Swamp.” They’re right.
