Africa & Europe
- Pray for IJM Ghana as they work with partners to identify and rescue children trafficked into fishing. Many fishing communities migrate and children are regularly moved from one location to another — pray for the ability to gather good information and act quickly while the children can still be found. Pray also for the safety and protection of the children at risk of abuse or even drowning while waiting to be rescued.
Latin America
- Pray for safety, strength and renewed hope for children, families, our partners and IJM staff in Central America affected by Hurricane Eta. Last week, a Category 4 hurricane hit the region, burying people under massive mudslides and rained-fueled landslides. A natural disaster like this adds strain over the slow and partial reopening of the region due COVID-19. Specifically pray for safety and stamina for the humanitarian responders who continue to search for missing bodies and for protection for children and families who might have been left even in more vulnerable conditions.
South Asia
- Praise God for a 13-year-old boy who was rescued last weekend from bonded labor at a goat farm. He had grown up in extreme poverty and went to work to help his family, but then ended up trapped in a violent situation. His family had no idea where he was for three years. IJM's partners found him in a desperate situation and we worked together on a rescue operation. Praise God that he has now been reunited with his family, and please pray for his recovery and ongoing safety.
Southeast Asia
- Pray for the Philippines, where a typhoon made

landfall on Wednesday night . More than 180,000 people have had to be evacuated, and it is hitting the same area that suffered a super typhoon less than two weeks earlier. Pray for safety for the people living in these affected areas, and for the government and international community as they provide assistance, both now and as the Philippines rebuilds in the future.

- Pray for all of the artists, athletes and influencers that we're building relationships with, that it would bring them real joy to use their influence to point people to IJM. Pray that their audiences would be engaged and give in response to learning about our work. In particular pray for our upcoming Concert of Hope this month, featuring two new artists that we're working with for the first time.
